NBIMA (National
Board of Internal Medicine for Acupuncturists)
Duties:
The board, composed of distinguished medical practitioners, meets on a
regular basis and approves all internal medicine training programs that
lead to certification. The board then certifies as board certified those
who have demonstrated full competency in this 300 hour training and have
passed the certification exam.

Dr. Margeret Malone, (Ob-Gyn, practitioner of
integrated medicine)
Dr. Bruce Robinson, (retired vascular surgeon; Integrated Medical
Solutions course director)
Richard Esquivel, LAc (President of Foundation for Acupuncture
Research)
Denise LeCompte, LAc (also completing medical school)
Anna Manayan, LAc (acupuncturist, first diplomate of Internal
Medicine Traing Program nurse)
Duncan McDonald, LAc (Vice President of Secara Herbal
Company)
Chris O'Donnell, LAc (assistant in neurosurgical unit at San
Francisco General Hospital)
